Ortix Aislo Terms of Service

Updated 30 October 2026 · version 2026-10-30

These terms are the agreement between your shop and Ortix Group LLC for Ortix Aislo. They are written in plain English on purpose: monthly by default, cancel in one click, no notice period, nothing charged after you cancel, and your data is always yours to export.

Who this agreement is between

These terms are an agreement between Ortix Group LLC, an Indiana limited liability company (“Ortix Group”, “we”, “us”), and the business that signs up for Ortix Aislo (“your shop”, “you”). The person who accepts them confirms they may bind the shop. Ortix Aislo is for businesses; it is not for personal or household use.

The Ortix Aislo privacy policy, the data processing addendum and the messaging policy are part of these terms.

The service

Ortix Aislo is shop management software: the web app at aislo.ortixgroup.com, the phone app, and the pages your customers open from your messages (estimate approvals, invoices, payments and online booking). We keep improving it. We will not take away a main feature of your plan during a period you have paid for, and we tell you at least 30 days before we remove one.

Your account and your users

  • The person who signs up is the shop's owner on the account and can add users, give them roles and remove them.
  • Keep sign-in details private and turn on two-step sign-in. You are responsible for what your users do in the account. Tell us straight away, from Help in the app or through our contact form, if you think someone has signed in without permission.
  • Give us a working email address for the owner. We send billing, security and legal notices there.

Free trial

A new shop gets a 14-day free trial with the Pro features. No card is needed and nothing is charged during the trial. If you choose a plan and add a payment method, billing starts when the trial ends. If you do not, the account becomes read-only when the trial ends, your data stays available to export, and the timeline in If a payment fails applies.

Plans, prices and billing

  • Plans, add-ons and every fee are listed on the pricing page and in Settings › Subscription. Your bill never contains a charge that is not listed there.
  • Plans are billed monthly by default, in advance, in US dollars, by card or bank account (ACH) through Stripe. You can choose to pay yearly instead, which costs the same as 10 months.
  • Moving to a bigger plan or adding an add-on takes effect straight away, and you pay the difference for the rest of the current period. Moving to a smaller plan takes effect at the end of the current period, with no credit for the rest of that period.
  • Prices do not include sales tax and we do not charge sales tax today. If a law starts to require it, we tell you at least 30 days before the first invoice that includes it.
  • We tell you by email at least 30 days before a price goes up. The new price starts at your next renewal after that; a year you have already paid for keeps its price.
  • If a charge is made in error, tell us and we refund it.

Texts included and texts over the allowance

  • Each plan includes a number of text segments a month, shown on the pricing page. A segment is one text of up to 160 plain characters (or 70 when it contains emoji or some special characters); a longer text counts as more than one. Unused texts do not carry over.
  • Texts beyond the allowance and any text packs cost 3¢ a segment and are added to your next invoice. You can set a monthly limit in Settings › Subscription and choose whether texting stops when the limit is reached or only warns you.
  • Texting from your shop's own registered number starts after your first payment, with no setup fee. The carriers review every registration and decide on their own timetable; they may refuse it or filter messages, which we do not control.
  • When your account becomes export-only, we stop texting for you and release the number and registration from our texting provider. If you want to keep a number we set up for you, ask us before then and we will help you move it where the carriers allow. A number you already owned and brought to Ortix Aislo stays yours.

Cancelling and refunds

  • Cancel at any time in one click in Settings › Subscription. There is no notice period, no cancellation fee and no call to make.
  • You keep full access until the end of the period you have paid for. Nothing is charged after you cancel, except texts over the allowance that were sent before the period ended.
  • We do not refund the part of a monthly or yearly period that is left when you cancel; you keep using Ortix Aislo for that time instead. We do refund a charge made in error, and any prepaid time you have not used when we end the agreement or when you cancel because you do not accept a change to these terms.
  • After the period ends, the account is export-only: you can sign in and export everything, but not add or change records. You can come back to a paid plan at any time and carry on where you left off. To have your shop's data deleted, ask us through our contact form.

If a payment fails

We email the owner and retry the payment. Counting from the day the first payment failed, in your shop's time zone:

  • Days 0 to 7: everything keeps working while you update the payment method.
  • From day 8: the account is read-only. You can see and export everything but not add or change records.
  • From day 22: the account is export-only.
  • On day 61: we email the owner that the shop's data will be deleted.
  • On day 120: the shop's data is deleted from Ortix Aislo. We can still restore it for 30 days if you ask; after that it is gone, apart from the encrypted backups described in the privacy policy, which expire on their own schedule.

Paying the overdue invoice at any point before deletion brings full access back straight away.

Your data

  • Everything your shop puts into Ortix Aislo, including its customers, vehicles, repair orders, invoices, photos and messages, belongs to your shop. You give us permission to store, process and show it only so we can run Ortix Aislo for you, give support and keep it secure.
  • You can export all of it at any time in Settings › Data import and export, in standard formats, whether or not your account is paid up. We never hold your data back to collect a payment.
  • We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or show it to other shops. We may use counts that combine many shops and identify none of them or their customers, such as how long estimates take to approve on average, to run and improve Ortix Aislo.
  • For your customers' personal information you are in charge and we act on your instructions; the data processing addendum sets out how.
  • You are responsible for what you enter and send, including tax rates, prices, warranty terms and the wording of your documents. Ortix Aislo calculates totals from your settings; check them before you send. We are not your tax or legal adviser.

Texting and email to your customers

Your shop is the sender of the texts and emails it sends from Ortix Aislo. You must have each customer's permission where the law requires it, follow the messaging policy, and honor every opt-out. We may pause texting or email for your shop if carriers report complaints, if messages break the messaging policy or the law, or if your sending puts other shops' delivery at risk. We tell you why and what to do.

Acceptable use

You and your users must not:

  • break the law, or use Ortix Aislo to deceive, harass or threaten anyone;
  • send spam, or texts or emails to people who have not agreed to receive them or who have opted out;
  • upload malware, or content you have no right to use;
  • try to get into another shop's data or our systems, test our security without written permission, or get around limits, plan features or billing;
  • overload the service, scrape it, or copy it to build a competing product;
  • resell or rent access to Ortix Aislo to others without our written agreement;
  • store full card numbers, bank account numbers, Social Security numbers or passwords in notes, messages or other free-text fields. Card payments go through the payment screens, which never show us the card number.

Services you connect

You can connect other services, such as QuickBooks Online, your shop's Gmail, parts suppliers or card payments through Stripe. When you do, you ask us to send them the data the connection needs. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to what they do with it, and we are not responsible for their services. Taking card payments from your customers also requires Stripe's connected account agreement.

Support and availability

  • Support: a person answers within the hour, 7am–7pm shop time, Mon–Sat, through our contact form and from Help in the app, which also shows the current response time.
  • We aim to keep Ortix Aislo running around the clock. We announce planned maintenance in advance and show the service's state on the public status page at aislo.ortixgroup.com/status. New releases go out step by step and can be rolled back.
  • We back up every shop's data every night, encrypted, and test that the backups restore. The phone app keeps working without a connection and sends its changes when the connection is back.
  • We do not promise that Ortix Aislo will never be interrupted or have no errors, and there are no service credits for downtime unless we agree them in writing.

Security and incidents

We protect your data with the measures described in the privacy policy and the data processing addendum. If we learn that your shop's data has been accessed without permission, we tell the owner without undue delay, and within 72 hours of confirming it, with what we know and what we are doing.

Confidentiality

Each of us keeps the other's non-public business information confidential and uses it only for this agreement, except information that is already public, was known before, or must be disclosed by law (with notice to the other where the law allows).

Our software and your feedback

Ortix Group owns Ortix Aislo, its design and its code. While you subscribe, you may use it for your shop's business under these terms. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything; your shop's data is never part of that.

Warranties

We will provide Ortix Aislo with reasonable skill and care and as these terms describe. Apart from that, and as far as the law allows, Ortix Aislo is provided “as is”, without other warranties, such as that it is fit for a particular purpose or free of errors.

Limits on liability

  • Neither of us is liable to the other for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data that could have been exported, or indirect or consequential losses.
  • Each party's total liability under this agreement is limited to the amount your shop paid Ortix Group in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim.
  • These limits do not apply to fees you owe, to a party's fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct, or to the promises in Claims by others.

Claims by others

You will defend Ortix Group against claims by others that arise from your shop's data, from the messages your shop sends (including claims under texting and telemarketing laws) or from a breach of Acceptable use, and pay the resulting costs. We will defend you against claims that Ortix Aislo itself infringes someone else's intellectual property rights, and pay the resulting costs. Whoever is asked to defend must be told promptly and allowed to control the defence.

Suspension

We may suspend all or part of an account to stop a security threat, illegal use or a serious breach of these terms. We tell the owner why, keep the suspension as narrow and short as we can, and keep your export available unless the law stops us.

Ending the agreement

You can end it at any time by cancelling. We can end it with 30 days' notice by email, in which case we refund any prepaid time you have not used. Either of us can end it straight away if the other seriously breaks it and does not fix it within 15 days of notice. The sections on your data, confidentiality, warranties, liability, claims by others, law and disputes, and this one continue after the agreement ends.

Changes to these terms

We post every new version here with its version number and date, and list what changed under Versions and changes. For a change that matters, we email the owner at least 30 days before it takes effect and ask you to accept it in the app. If you do not agree, you can cancel before it takes effect and we refund any prepaid time you have not used.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before going to court, write to us through our contact form and we will both try in good faith to settle it within 30 days. Any case is heard in the state or federal courts located in Indiana, and each of us agrees to those courts.

General

  • These terms, with the documents named in Who this agreement is between and any order form we sign, are the whole agreement between us about Ortix Aislo.
  • You may transfer this agreement to someone who buys your shop, by telling us. We may transfer it to a company that takes over Ortix Aislo.
  • Notices to you go to the owner's email address; notices to us go through our contact form.
  • Neither of us is liable for delays caused by events outside reasonable control, such as power or network failures or natural disasters.
  • If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term is not giving it up.
